Answers
1. Is the dummy flat?
The dummy is a ventilated dummy where air comes in and out. If you pull the teat, it will probably fill with air again. Sometimes the valve closes during boiling so the teat becomes flat. All our MyDummies are ventilated dummies. An EU standard specifies that all dummies must be ventilated.
2. Has the latex teat become softer?
Teats made of natural rubber/latex tend to soften as they are used and also over time. If they are exposed to sunlight, soak in water, or are exposed to cleaning/washing agents, they can become softer and more unfit for use than normal. The recommended period of use for a natural rubber dummy is 4-8 weeks, but this can be significantly reduced if it is exposed to the situations mentioned above.
3. Are there bitemarks in the silicone?
Silicone generally lasts a long time, but can be less resistant toward sharp teeth than latex. Some children bite more than others and you should be aware of this. Latex is more resistant toward bitemarks.
4. How do I subscribe to/unsubscribe from the newsletter?
You can subscribe to the newsletter on the homepage of MyDummy.co.uk. The newsletter can be unsubscribed at the bottom of the newsletter that you receive from us.
5. The text looks different from dummy to dummy?
The appearance of the text can vary from dummy to dummy as there are differences in the plastic. This is why the text is darker on some dummies and lighter on others.
6. Can I have the text the other way round on the dummy?
We know that some children use their dummies the other way around, but unfortunately we cannot make them in this way due to production restraints.
7. Can I have different names on the dummies?
Yes. Our MyDummies are sold in packs of 2 or 3 and they can all have different text. You can also choose different colours in each pack.
